Thought a bit of content on here wouldn’t hurt so here goes:

Pricey’s 11 free agent selections so far ranked

  1. Anthony McDonald Tipungwuti: Tippa always a solid FA selection, I think many of us other coaches have had a dabble before here. Plays every week, averaging 71 for the season. Exciting to watch and can randomly throw a big score.

  2. Rhys Mathieson: Brought in by the Lions to replace Lachie Neale Round 7, definitely worth a punt. Small sample size so far but averaging 74, forwards are genuine trash so anyone who can play midfield is golden. Jury out whether he’ll last in the best 22 but a worthwhile pick nonetheless.

  3. Tom Campbell: Pricey’s top scoring ruck two weeks in a row. Important coverage while Sam Draper has been out. A pick that has served it’s purpose.

  4. Taylor Walker: Can’t fault the selection itself, after 4 x 100+ scores teams were lining up to pick him. Unfortunately big Tex hasn’t clicked with the coaching staff at DUDES HQ and hasn’t cracked the ton since. 75/84/38/16/“rested”

  5. Cam Ellis-Yolmen: Good to see Pricey’s state league spies earning their keep. CEYs 39 possession game down at Metricon on Thursday gaining their full attention. Could be a promising selection, it’s not as if Brisbane’s midfield is hard to break into.

  6. Nick Holman: A Saturday afternoon score of 131 for the journeyman was enough to draw Pricey online at 6:16pm to snap him up. Followed up with scores of 50 and 78 then been out for concussion since.

  7. Michael Hartley: Pricey has been all over the Ins and Outs this year and this pick was no exception. Named for his first game since a 113 in Round 4, Pricey pounced. A score of 79 would have been a pass mark, followed up with a 46 this week though. I guess if you look at it glass half full, after 12 games in 4 years Hartley is due to string a few together.

  8. Sam Switkowski: After a quick start to the game, Pricey didn’t want to muck around, obviously wary that 9 other coaches were watching the Essendon/Freo game intently. Switkowski was 40ish to half time, Pricey took him at 1:57pm immediately putting the kiss of death on the poor bloke, 48 his grand total for the game. Maybe won’t be a complete write off, he did ton up round 2 with a career high 16 disposals so the ability is there.

  9. Tom Clurey: 18 kicks 1 handball for 86 points the week prior off the back of 2 x 70+ scores was enough to convince Pricey that after 7 shit fantasy seasons Clurey was primed for a breakout. He wasn’t. Quietly delisted this afternoon.

  10. Paul Hunter: Needed starting rucks, drafted same time as Tom Campbell so the thought process is understandable. Did play Round 5 but was dropped the week after and not sighted since.

  11. Oskar Baker: excited by Baker’s 15 disposal / 79 score the week previously, at 7:47pm on a Wednesday Pricey pounced. Probably should have waited for teams to be named as Baker was promptly dropped from the side. Rumours are the Dees match committee was spooked by Pricey’s interest.
